BOARD NOMINATIONS The Nominating Committee has nominated incumbents Cliff Deberry and Steve Poston to fill two open positions on the Board of Directors. In addition, due to the death of Patricia Howard prior to the expiration of her term, the Nominating Committee has nominated Juanita Barnes to fill the remainder of this term, which expires in 2024. |
BOARD NOMINEES
Steve Poston Steve Poston retired in 2018 after 39 years working in the Customer Engineering Department. He has served LGWFCU in a volunteer capacity for over 18 years, most recently as the Chairman of the LGWFCU Board of Directors. He is totally dedicated to the advancement of the credit union and making it accessible to all members. He will continue to do his best at ensuring that LGWFCU remains one of the most financially stable credit unions in the area. He believes that the only way to keep things on the right track is to keep the right people in the right position. Cliff DeBerry, Jr. Cliff DeBerry, Jr. is Vice President of Design, Construction and Delivery, and is responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of construction and maintenance operations of the Division, Residential and Commercial Engineering Design, Lighting Services and Builder and Developer Services. Cliff graduated from Christian Brothers College (now CBU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987 and additionally received a master of business degree in 1994 from Memphis State University. He is a registered professional engineer licensed in the state of Tennessee, Board member for the Mid-South Food Bank, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the LGWFCU Board of Directors. Juanita Barnes Juanita retired from MLGW after 30 years of service, working in various departments including Building Services, Public Relations and Customer Services. She currently serves as Chair of the LG&W Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee and has been a volunteer for this committee for over 10 years. She is proud of her association with such an amazing professional staff and Board that strives to continue to offer a broad array of services to our LG&W Federal Credit Union family members |
