Betty Rome started working at MLGW in customer relations on June 4, 1959. At the time, she signed up with LG&W Federal Credit Union to open her first checking account.
Betty's 40-year career at MLGW is one that she remembers fondly. Before she retired in 1999, she worked on the Executive Floor as an assistant to Larry Papasan, Bill Crawford, and Herman Morris. "Working at MLGW was a wonderful opportunity to work with high caliber employees and impressive leaders."
After Betty retired, she continued to conduct all of her financial needs with LG&W Federal Credit Union. "There was no reason to switch!", explains Betty. "The credit union has handled all of my mortgages, credit cards, loans on all of our vehicles, and has bent over backwards to help me with any financial need."
"The credit union has always been competitive with rates lower than typical banks, and the customer service is top-notch. I wouldn’t bank anywhere else!"
